Watchtower is obsessed with increasing their ranks
Yes! Since the door to door ministry doesn't work, it's easier to find and mold young children and teens inside the Kingdom Hall.
jesus was thirty was he was baptized.
today, you hear of young children getting baptized as young as 10 years old.
the parents, family and congregation think it's a wonderful idea that someone dedicates their life to jehovah at such a young age.

Some of this Baptisms at a young age was spurred on by the acceptance that judgment day is really coming soon , so parents thought it would be advantageous for their children to get baptized, as further assurance that their children would be saved.
I was baptized for that reason in the summer of 1974 at a young age of 13.

Anyway the main reason is,... WHY NOT baptise Teens? We let them make career and education choices that influence them the rest of their lifes at that age so why not the choice to serve Jehovah?
If they make the wrong career choice they can always quit and look for new employment. If a teen makes the choice of getting baptized and later wants to change his religion, he will be disfellowshipped.

They are then required to turn in a field service report, comment at meetings, and give talks at the Ministerial School.
I think the real reason the Society wants young children to get baptized at such a young age is that they can scare and disfellowship these young children if and when they start smoking, drinking, having sex, trying drugs, and anything else the Society disapproves. The Society cannot handle what normal young children and teens might go through. It's better to remove them!
What do you think is the main reason the Watchtower Society baptize their children so young?
you don't have to know much to talk to jw's and show them they don't want to really discuss the matters.they consider a discussion on the matter they are pushing to be "confrontational.".

Does it say anywhere in the Bible that we should seek out and be unkind to those whose faith and whose works we view as being inadequate? How do we or anyone else viewing this video know for sure what other works these kids may be involved with, so that we can pass judgement on whether or not their faith is dead?
Jehovah's Witnesses believe and follow the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus was the son of God and died for all of our sins. Jesus said to preach the gospel. Jesus also said to feed and take care of widows and orphans. You cannot just preach the gospel. You must also help those in need.
These young men were just handing out Awake magazines. Why weren't they and the Watchtower Society not being Christlike and showing the works of feeding the poor, taking care of widows and orphans?

As we all know, JW's foremost mission and their small piece of the large tapestry of human civilization right now, is to promote a "long term" fix for mankind's problems. We don't have to agree with them but that's what they do... that's their work.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Here's the deal. Yes perhaps the camera man came off somewhat rude- but in order to expose the WT Society or reveal to these young people different information the camera man had to say what he did . He rubbed it in wrongly by accusing the young JW's of not helping the homeless man - so the cameraman got off track in trying to expose these JW's. But I believe whether there was a camera filming it or not filming it - the young JW's answers would have been the same. They STILL would not have been able to explain their beliefs.
The man taking the video says ''You have religious people who are PROMOTING their own religion rather than doing good for the homeless man."
The young man on the second video looks well nourished, dressed to the nines, and standing on his feet handing out a magazine. There is a drunk and homeless man a few feet away who needs help. The promotion of the religion seems more important than helping this down and out person.
Why doesn't this young man call his religious leaders and get him some food and shelter? Why is a little paper magazine more important than a human being?
Where are the Watchtower Society soup kitchens and shelters? Where are the free clothing and money donations for the down and out?
As a Jehovah's Witness for 40 years, I don't ever remember one talk about helping out any person who was down and out? All I remember was placing magazines and books!
nounspontaneity is defined as the act or quality of acting without thinking in advance.. .
remember when the speaker for the sunday talk forgot to show up, was backed up in traffic or forgot the outline of his talk at home?
we went straight to the watchtower study and left early.. .
Simon
We all were happy when the meeting was cut short. I remember a brother who forgot his talk outline at home and tried to convince the Elders in my congregation that he could give the talk without the outline. He had a really good memory but they refused to let him give the talk.
It just shows you how they control every second of the meetings. Everything is force fed and that no one can be trusted.

I would certainly refuse to have a discussion with a camera trained on me. Not because I am unable to defend my beliefs but because the opportunity for misrepresenting me is limitless.....Earnest

Not if your doing the talking..
That`s the golden opportunity to preach the message your trying to get out to the entire world..
Unless that was never your goal to begin with and your just counting time..
Hoping nobody asks you any Real Questions because then they`ll know your Full of Sh*t!..
You can see that on the first video that they were both caught by surprise when someone was willing to talk and ask questions. The 18 year old male witness and the female witness were both doing the dirty work of the WTBTS. They were both counting easy time ( where you just hold up the Awake Magazine and hope nobody talks to you). It clearly shows that the young man didn't even read the magazine he was handing out. If he did, he would of had real answers to the man making the video. You can see that he is tested with real questions but comes up with Parrot answers.
On the second video, the man making the video is not being a smart ass. He sees a young man that is neatly dressed, showered, and likely drove to the location. A few feet away is a man that is probably drunk and homeless. The real question is not to the young man but to the Jehovah's Witness leaders. Why isn't he taken to a location where he would have a meal, shower and a roof over his head since he is down and out? Why is the WTBTS only interested in placing a magazine? Why can't they do both?
